IV Therapy

Woodside provides IV therapy to assist you on your road to recovery.

Rehabilitation

We provide our residents with physical, occupational, speech and IV therapy from a team of qualified rehabilitation team members. Our goal is to help residents regain their health, independence and quality of life to their highest ability.

Physical Therapy
  • Full-time, one-on-one physical therapy
  • Training in mobility, gait stability, ambulation, posture, and positioning
  • Custom exercise programs to re-educate muscles, increase muscle function and improve coordination
  • Specialty programming and technology to promote balance and fall prevention
  • Joint and soft tissue mobilization to increase range of motion and manage contractures
Occupational Therapy
  • Education and training in dressing, bathing, eating and grooming
  • Activities for memory, orientation, and cognitive integration
  • Adaptive techniques and equipment to overcome physical disabilities
  • Strengthening and coordination exercises
  • Exercises to reduce the effects of arthritis or other conditions to maintain normal joint movement
  • Therapeutic environment for activities of daily living re-training with full kitchen, bathroom, and bed
Speech Therapy
  • Exercises designed to recover speech, language and memory skills
  • Programs to strengthen verbal and non-verbal communication, including hearing impaired
  • Functionally appropriate diets
  • Focus on oral muscle strength and functions required for speaking and swallowing

Woodside is a stellar post-acute provider. I am very impressed with the kind and loving approach coupled with years and years of the highest quality of care. This facility is a great place for the community to heal and strengthen before going home.

This review is a little late as my father has been home for quite a few weeks now. These guys took care of my father after he was taken to the hospital. I chose this place based on the location, it was close to the house. I had no idea how great things would be. The managers and workers were great with him. The special attention he got from Nadine, Jane, and Lance was awesome and greatly appreciated. My father wasn’t a good patient by any means. He was quite grumpy and just wanted to leave. The care, patience and encouragement he was given every day was great.

Nicole and Alyssa were both phenomenal with guiding me and my mother through this first experience at a SNF. The turn around my mom had with the OT/PT was just impressive. She did well and walking steady again, and better than baseline. Im grateful to the nurses, aides, and therapists for their care. Dr. Reyna and the psychiatrist were also very compassionate and gave me feedback on my mom’s regimen. We were able to cut back on some of the meds safely. We are grateful for Woodside Healthcare.

My mom was admitted to Woodside Healthcare Center over three months ago for round the clock care and rehab, because she had fallen and both her legs were fractured. She also has dementia and she does not even speak English. She was discharged yesterday and she is doing well at home. During her stay she was given the best care possible by the staff from the first day to the last. The staff was professional, skillful, thoughtful and caring. They were able to gain my mom's trust and did their best to communicate with her to fulfill her needs and give her all the necessary care. I was always welcomed to visit, ask questions and get updates on my mom's progress and wellbeing. The place is very clean, organized and never smells bad. The facility is adequate size and it even includes a nice green backyard with tables, chairs and umbrellas so the patients can enjoy the open space. I am very grateful to all the staff who helped my mom recover.

My name is Sarah Mangus and I work for Applied healthcare solutions as a community liaison, I work with Woodside often and I am always impressed with the level of professionalism with the staff and also the cleanliness of the building. I always feel welcomed in this building, staff is ALWAYS greeting you with a smile and warm hello. This facility is definitely one that I would take my loved ones to, they have an amazing nursing staff with a great treatment nurse. They unlike a lot of other facilities are blessed with great staff and use staffing agencies minimally. I would recommend this facility 10/10 to anyone looking for quality care. The administrator Alicia has put in a lot of effort to renovate this building over the last 2 years and upgraded the therapy room which is great for skilled patients!
